KATNISS POV:
I creep through the shadows of district 12 to my mothers house. I don't have a key I lost it a few weeks ago but I just push the door slightly and it opens. There is a light coming from the living room. I peek through the door and see my mother reading a book. I creep in and stand infront of her
"You killed Prim" I whisper she looks up with pure terror in her eyes
"Katniss I know what your thinking but no"
"And now Im going to kill you" I whisper a tear escaping my eye. WHo thought my mother of all people would murder sweet innicont prim. Well she has and she cant change that. She gets up from the couch and backs away but each step she takes each step I take...
PEETAS POV:
I wake up and feel the other side of the bed. Wheres Katniss? No. She can't be! I get up and put on the first clothes I find. Then I rush out the house to Victors Vilage. Katniss No please don't do anything stupid.
I see the door is open so I walk straight in and hear screaming coming from the living room. I bolt in to see Katniss being pinned down by her mother. Both bleeding.
"KATNISS!" I scream before peeling her mum off her. Plutarch comes down
"WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON?" He shouts
"MY DAUGHTER TRIED TO KILL ME!" Her mum shouts back
"OH REALLY BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE YOU FOUGHT BACK" I join in the argument for Katniss sake. I bend down and crouch over her. Her eyes are open and she is just blinking "Come on Katniss lets go home" I whisper. I pick her up and take her out the house I pack our things and get on the train to district 4. When we get in the room we where given she sits on the bed looking at her lap.
"How can you love me?" She asks still looking down I dont say anything so she meets my eyes "How can you love me after everything Ive done! Ive destroyed your life and you keep coming back! Why?" She raises her voice tears coming out of her eyes
"Because your brave you stand up for what you believe in and yes Katniss you can get in a mess but I love you and I will never stop loving you! Without you im not complete" I walk over and hug her as we sit on the bed
"I love you" She whispers
"I love you too" I say before she falls into a deep sleep...
