I wake up to the battle
Daily I face the heat
But I know in Jesus it will settle
As I follow His heart beat
In the midst of the battle
I am pushed to the edge
I turn to You, Lord, to handle
For my life in You I have pledged
In You my victory lies
By Your Truth I overcome the lies
The attacks of the enemy take a slide
As I face them in Your guide
