there's is a difference between feeling sad and being depressed
you don't have depression just because you are feeling sad that day
you don't have depression because of another person
you don't have depression because you see ur friend that is diagnosed
it's not called having depression, it's called craving for attention
stop broadcasting it to the world if you're really depressed
stop making it seem
like it's an ok thing
it not only offends people who are diagnosed but it's wrong and you need to stop.
i am tired of seeing people on here waltzing around and saying they have depression so easily as if it is a necklace
here's a little something most of the people do on here
1. they say they're depressed so they make their profile black, make everyone feel sad so they write messages for them , getting the attention they want then boom ! next thing you know they're back and act as if they've never had depression
2. they make everything about them. they talk about how they have depression all the time, they get the attention they want
3. they make their profile black , they say they're going on hiatus and never coming back. boom!! guess what happens????? they come back and face the attention they asked for

depression is serious, it's not fun, it's not a game, it's not something you get to choose

people who are really depressed, that i know of, don't make a whole fucking deal about it. actually they don't even make a chapter about how they're "depressed"
