To my new readers, welcome to the world of the lawless! This is an assassin story set in an alternate world where people have special abilities I creatively call Curses (or Gifts, depending on which book you're reading). This is the FOURTH book in the Black Equation series, but don't worry, this is a stand-alone story and you don't need to read the other three to understand what is happening. To my BE readers who have long supported me, WELCOME BACK! I hope you will enjoy this book as much as the first three. This story will be about the first generation Equations, and you'll get to meet the founders of Creed! This will mainly involve ACTION and FANTASY, and this first chapter is just a taste of the conflict within the story. It will not be completely a drama, I promise!
