vany was an ordinary boy
who spoke with texts and on apps
more than with his voice and in his house;
his screams were in CAPITAL LETTERS
and EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and his whispers were in italics
and u n n e c e s s a r y s p a c e s .
vany was a boy who dreamt in the day
of super kids jumping through windows
and of fictional characters showing up at the door,
asking him to come, to tell him things
about himself which he never knew of;
but as soon as he stopped dreaming,
it would hit him:
he was ordinary.
and he was. vany was ordinary.
he spent more time using his thumb
than his voice and dreaming than sleeping,
and wishing he was extraordinary
than living on.
he couldn't fly or make things float
with his brain, he couldn't use a wand
or bend earth at his will,
he couldn't read minds or draw lives
or save the world from villains who
strutted around and spoke too much.
yet little did vany know,
that by dreaming of the extraordinary,
he already was extraordinary;
just not in its ordinary sense.

hi! okay so this along w the next four chapters aren't edited nor proofread n i'm putting up this warning bc when a work of mine is edited, it changes drastically, but i'm rn in a hurry to post these so i'm sorry. i would appreciate it if u help me edit them later by pointing out these mistakes n commenting on the parts that should remain the way they r n give me suggestions on what i should change :) thanks.
