He was once the happiest person alive. That's how I saw him. But he was, in fact, burning inside. He made me happy and shared his sadness. But at times I thought he was helpless. I became sad and thought I lost hope. He came up to me one day and said we should elope. His eyes were full of life and security. The type I had wished for so desperately. The man I had once known was back and stronger than ever. From that moment on, I knew we'd be lovers forever.
