Three your have past and you were heading for the Kazekages office. You knocked on the door. "Who is it?" "[Y/n] [L/n]." You said. "Enter." You opened the door. "Hi dad just came to give you lunch." (If you are not seeing what is happening Your farther is the Kazekage fill in until they choose someone else to be the Kazekage) "Thank you [Y/n]." He takes the boxed lunch you made him. "So tell me have you seen Gaara come back from his mission yet?" "No not yet. Why." "The counsel wanted me to give him this letter." He then hands you a the letter. "Can you please give it to him for me?" "Sure dad." You were about to leave. "Wait there is also this letter for you." He then hands you the letter. You open it and your eyes widened. "What are you serious?"

Nock , nock, nock. The door opens to show Temari. "Oh [Y/n] what are you doing here?" "My dad has wanted me to give this letter to Gaara it's from the high counsel. When Gaara gets home can you make sure he reads it?" "Yeah sure." she takes the letter and she was about to close the door when you stop her. "Um hey Temari." "Yeah." "Do you think you can come over to my how tonight? I need girl help." "Yeah sure. No problem." Great see you tonight." She then closed the door.

A few hours later Gaara came home. "I'm home." "Oh hey Gaara." "What is with the bag." "Oh [Y/n] invited me over to her house for the night she's having girl problems again," She then pulled the letter out of her pocket. "Oh here [Y/n] also stopped by a few hours ago to give you this. She said it's from the high counsel." Temari then walks out the door. "I be back at seven." The door closes. He then opens the letter and read it over. His eyes widened. "Oh hey Gaara your home." He then looks at Gaara. Gaara Is something wrong." he then walks over to him and Gaara hands him the letter. Kankuro's eyes widened.
[Meanwhile at your house]
You and Temari plop down on the couch in your favorite pjs. "Alright girl what is the problem?" "This." You handed her the letter, she took it and read it out loud,
Dear Miss [L/n],
We kindly ask you to become a ANBU officer we have been watching you ever sense you have returned from the lea village and we kindly ask you to accept this offer. If you your first assignment is to become the Kazekages assistant will protecting him at the same time. Please come to the council meeting tomorrow to receive your ANBU uniform. "Oh my god." "I know, what should I do?" "Well didn't your dad tell you who the new Kazekage is going to be?" "No he said it's a surprise." You then fell back on the couch and pulled a pillow over your face. You then slid it half off of your face. "I wonder if the new Kazekage is Gaara." Said Temari. You then sat up hugging the pillow. "I don't know, but if it is you can't tell him about this." "Okay fine. I wont." "Good." There was then a Knock on the door. "Huh I wonder who would be out at this time of night?" You then walk to the door and open it to see Kankuro and Gaara huffing and puffing out of breath. "Why are you two breathing so hard you look like you just ran a 1200 miles." You then pull them in and set them on the couch. Temari get a couple of glasses of water." Temari then came back and gave them the glasses of water. They gulped down the water. Once they finished they were better. Gaara flung his head fore ward still breathing heavily. You set your hand on his back and rubbed it. "That's it. Now why were the two of you in such a hurry to get hear." Kankuro then handed you the letter you read it out loud.

Dear Gaara,
We have decided to make you the next Kazekage. You will start in two days. Mr. [L/n] will stow you around and tell you your basic duties. Until then the High council.

The boys had finally got their breath, you then tackle Gaara trapping him in a hug. "Oh my god. Gaara your finally the Kazekage. You then give him a kiss on the cheek and hugged him again. "Oh this is just to good." "What?" Temari handed him the letter. "Well this is just to good." He then stares at the to of you. "Well atleast nothing bad will happen now." "That what we hope." said Temari.

Dear Sakura,
How are things? You would not believe what has happen here in gust one day. Gaara has became Kazekage, and I have became a ANBU officer. But tell me how's Narutoand everyone doing? Has Naruto become Kazekage yet? Well till next time.

You then place it in to an envelope and you walked out the door and headed the post office to mail the letter. "Miss [Y/n]. You turned around to see a girl with short brown hair running towards you. "Oh Matsuri what is it." "I, I heard that Gaara is going to be the new Kazekage." She said in between breathes. You smiles at Gaara's student. "Yes he is. He starts tomorrow." "Well can you give this to him for me?" She then gave you a box. "What's in it?" You sniffed the air. "Are these cookies?" You asked surprised. She looked to the ground, with a blush on her cheeks. "Y-yes. It's the recipe that you taught me, I hope you don't mind I used it." "No not at all. I'm sure that Gaara will love them." You then said your goodbyes and you went to the post office and mailed your letter. You then head to Gaara's house. You nock on the door and Gaara opened the door. "Hey I just came by to give you this." You handed it to him. "It's from your student." He then invites you in and you eat the cookies together. "So has my dad shone you around yet?" "Yes. He even gave the robes already. You then looked at the clock. "Oh would you look at the time." You then got up and head to the door. "I need to go Gaara. I'll see you later." You then scrambled out the door and ran as fast as you could to the counsels meeting. You burst into the room out of breath. "I-I'm sorry if I'm late, I lost track of time." "Oh course your not late, in fact your just on time." You look up to look at your dad. "Wow. Really? Go figure." You then stood up straight to the counsel members. One of them then walked up to you and handed you your uniform. "I have a couple of questions?" "What is it?" "Okay one why did you choose me to be the assistant of the Kazekage and the bodyguard?" "We decided that you because you know Gaara the best and we thought if he ever goes out of control the you and your white dragon could bring him back to normal." "Alright second question. Do I always have to where this?" "Yes." "Well can I ware something over top of it and not where the mask and have it with me just in case?" The counsel looked to one another and nodded there heads. "Well I guess you can do that." You smiled at the answer. "Thank you." You bowed and headed out the meeting, as they continues the meeting.

The next day came and Gaara was putting on his robes, he looked at himself in a the mirror in his bathroom and remembered the day when he said he wanted to become the Kazekage.
[flashback]
You and Gaara were sitting outside of the village watching the sunset. "Hey [Y/n]." You turn your head to Gaara. "Tell me why was it that you wanted to become a jounin?" "Well it was because of my mother and dad was are jounins, but because of what has happened I think I want to be more than a jounin." "Like what?" "Well I talked with Shiro and she convinced me to want to become a ANBU officer." "Really." "Hn. You know what now I get Shiro's name. She was as sweat and friendly as a white flower but when she also had a very kind heart she would protect the people that she loved even though she sometimes she would be despised she would still give them a second chance." "And that also sounds just like you." "Ha, Gaara just because I describe her like that, does not mean that we are exactly the same. By the way Gaara what is it that you want to do in your life?" Gaara looked back at the sunset. "I want to become a person that the village can look up to, so I want to become the Kazekage." You smiled at him. "Well I think you will make a great Kazekage." You then did a had sigh and a clone that looked almost like you appeared. "Oh this is going to be great." Shiro then rapped her arms around your necks making it hard to breath. "Shiro we. Can't, breath."

Gaara did a little chuckle at the memory. He then looked to his night stand and he had two pictures one of when you were nine, one with you, Naruto and Gaara. There was then a nock on the door. "Gaara it's time to go."

"So Gaara how does it feel to finally be the Kazekage?" asked Kankuro. "It feels kind of odd. I just hope that I will be able to keep up with being Kazekage." "Well don't worry we and the high counsel have chosen a assistant for you." said Kankuro. There was then a nock in the door. "That must be Temari with her now." He then opens the door. "Hello Gaara-sama." Gaara's eyes widened. "[Y/n] you're my assistant?" Your [h/c] hair was up in a bun with a few strands of your loose hairs and you were warring a [f/c] kimono with a [2nd f/c] obi that had a dragon on it. You bowed to him. "I'm looking fore ward to assisting you." You smiled at him. You then look to Temari. "Temari are you sure that I have to ware this kimono?" "Yes. You have to look your best." "Sigh. Well this should be interesting." "It sure will be." said Shiro.
