- Lucinda POV -

It was time for the date. I'm so nervous! Why did I let Aphmau and Kawaii~Chan drag me into this? I'm stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid! But Laurence is so cute! Ugh! Don't let this end like it did with Ivan, Lucinda!

I was pacing back and forth when the doorbell rang.
"Coming!" I say, fixing my hair.
"Hey, Lucinda. You ready?" Laurence says, standing at the door.
"Yeah. Let's go." I say trying hard not to blush.

--- TIME SKIP ---

Laurence took me to a secluded lake.
"This is my grandparent's property. I um, wanted to share it with you because... I trust you and-" He stopped.
"Shh. Thank you. It's beautiful." I say, putting a finger to his lips.
"Hehe." He laughs nervously.
"Well, what are you waiting for? Let's get this date rolling!" I blush.

"You look pretty tonight, Lucinda." Laurence says.
"Thanks! You look pretty too! I mean handsome- I mean-" I mess up my speech.
"Your really cute when you mess up." He says, blushing a bright red.
"Heh. So are you..." I can't take it anymore. I kiss him. I feel his heartbeat grow faster and faster. He wraps his arms around my waist and holds me.

After what felt like a lifetime, we broke apart.
"Um... sorry! I- I didn't mean to." I blush crazily.
"It's alright, I liked it." He laughs.
"That's good, because I liked it too." I say.
"Let's go." He says.
"Where?" I ask.
"You'll see." He smirks.

"Here we are!" He says, holding my hand.
"Wow." I'm staring at an extremely pretty gazebo, decorated with fairy lights and flowers. Soft music was playing from inside it. "It's amazing! Thanks Laurence!" I say, trying to be cool.
"No problem, beautiful." He says.
"At least we stopped blushing!" I say, giggling.
"Yeah..." He says, "Want to dance?"
"Yeah!" I say, pulling him toward the gazebo.

And we danced the night away.
