PROLOGUE
I was born and raised in southern Texas. It's pretty cool, but nothing much happens here. I mean, there's the Rodeo, that's the shit, but nothing too exciting.
I've always wanted to get out of Texas when I graduate. Whether it was north, east, or west, I want to get away. I am currently 18 years of age and I still haven't experienced life. My parents are really protective if me when it comes to things. Nothing less that A's and B's are accepted in our house. I was involved in everything possible in school. Just a total of 5 this year. Yeah, I know, it sucks butt.
Speaking of school, I'm graduating tomorrow. Thank God!! I've been dealing with the same punks, nerds, and jocks for the past 12 years of my life. I've had a few friends but they were never true friends. I've also never had a boyfriend. Like EVER! People find it surprising, but I'm just waiting for the right guy and I have a feeling I will find him some day.
After I graduate I want to take chances and have fun. Something I NEVER do. I wanna be young and wild for once.
