Chapter four "Let's build a fort"

"Ted! Do we have to go?" Chris asks dreading to go to this dinner. "We are going and that's final." Ted finalizes. Chris pouts. "I'm not looking nice." Ted rolls his eyes. "I'm going to take a shower." Chris' eyes widen, he opens his mouth to ask if he can join him but Ted beat him to it, "No you can't join me Chris." "B-but fine." Chris stammers walking out of the room. "Get dressed!" Ted shouts causing the angry teen to hiss. Ted once again rolls his eyes and started to undress. When he took of his shirt he saw the old scar marks he made when he was younger. "No Ted. That isn't you anymore." He whispers to himself taking off his other clothing then entered the shower.

Chris put on a white button down shirt and a tie. He started at himself in the mirror and smirks. "I look good." He says a loud. "Sure you do. Now who is baby sitting me while you two freaks are gone?" Aiden asks. Chris turns around and sighs. "Well we got Huggles to baby sit you." "No. I don't like her." Aiden growls. "To bad. We might even come home early so don't worry about it." Chris replied, "Do you really think I look good?" Aiden made his judging face. "You look like shit." He says bluntly. "Out! Let's go!" Chris pushes Aiden out and slams the door.

"Aiden what did you do?" Ted asks only in a towel. Aiden laughs. "I said he looked like sh-" Aiden grew a horrified look on his face. "EW!" He shouts running downstairs. "And I'm the freak." Ted mumbles to himself as he enters the room Chris was in. "Hey how was the lonely shower?" Chris asks with a smug smirk on his face. "It was fine thanks for asking. Hand me my sweater please." He asks. "Yeah sure babe." Chris' words fade as he sees his lover only in a towel, his eyes were memorized on Ted. "Chris, the sweater?" Ted asks again. "Yeah sure." Chris hands him his sweater. Ted puts on his sweater and gets his other cloths from the drawers. "Ready yet?" Ted asks. Chris nodded as response still staring at Ted. Ted raises an eyebrow. "I'm allowed to look." Chris blushes walking out of the room. Ted chuckles softly following Chris.

Aiden was sitting on the couch, his face still red from anger and from seeing Ted like that. "Is she almost here?" Chris asks looking at the time. "She said she should be here in five minutes." Ted says. "Well tell her not to come!" Aiden shouts. "Ugh Aiden don't be like this." Ted says. "Knock, knock!" The boys hear her giggle from the other side of the door. "Bye Aiden see you later!" Chris kisses Aiden's cheek then runs out the door. "Hey Chris." Huggles waves as he pasted her. "Hey!" Chris replies. "Thanks Huggles." Ted thanks her then follows Chris in the car. "Hey Aiden!" Huggles giggles hugging the annoyed boy. "Get off!" Aiden groans attempting to push her off.

"I hope Aiden doesn't cause to much trouble." Chris says. "I'm sure they'll be fine. Now let's have fun at this diner." Ted smiles.

The two boys enter the restaurant. "Fancy." Chris says in awe looking around. "I'm glad you like it. I'll probably take you here for a couple of dates." Ted smiles. Chris smiles back kissing Ted, "Where are they?" He asks. Ted shrugs. "They should be here any minute." Chris' eyes widen. "They're here." "Oh thank god." Ted was about to wave them inside until he saw them kissing. "Holy shit." Chris laughs. A smirk forms on Ted's face. "Chris don't say anything." Ted demands. "What?! Why not? I wanted to tease her." Chris asks. "Because I am~ Nick did the same thing to me so why not." Ted snickers. Chris rolls his eyes and kisses his cheek. "Hello." Nick says walking up to them with Betty. Nick was wearing an orange button down shirt and Betty was wearing a yellow dress. "Hey Nick. Hey Betty." Chris greets them actually treating Betty politely. "Hello you two." Ted says trying not to laugh. "Ted are you ok?" Nick asks. "Oh I'm perfect~ Nick may I speak with you for a minute." Ted winks at Chris. "Betty let's go sit." Chris locks arms with Betty. "Oh this is new." She says in a confused tone. "Were supposed to be pals! So let's be pals!" Chris smiles widely at the confused girl. "Let's go then." She giggles walking with Chris to the table.

Nick and Ted go outside. "You are a naughty boy Nick." Ted purrs. "Why? What did I do?" Nick asks trying to figure out what he did. "I saw that little kiss you and Betty had." Ted replies. Nick's face turns red. "Hahaha about that. I like her and all but we're aren't dating yet. I have no clue how to ask either." Ted thought for a moment. "We can help you." Ted offers. "You and Chris? Really?" Nick asks surprised. "Of course! Now let's go inside." Ted pushes Nick inside. Betty waves them over. "So Betty. You and Nick huh?" Chris giggles. Betty blushes and scoffs. "Nick liking me? I wi-I don't wish cause I mean I don't like him." Chris raises an eyebrow. "You sure?" "Shut up they're coming." Betty barks.

"Hey did you two order yet?" Ted asks sitting next to Chris. "Not yet. Betty can't decide what she wants to get." Chris replies. "Sorry. I think I'm going to have the steak." She decides. "I'll have the fish and Ted doesn't eat shit so he'll probably just have a watermelon drink." Chris jokes causing Betty and Nick to laugh. "Haha funny. I'm gonna see if they have a watermelon only salad otherwise I'll just have a watermelon martini. How about you Nick?" Ted responds. "I'll have a steak...?" Nick says a questionable tone. Chris turns his head to laugh and Ted facepalms himself. "Is that what you want Nick?" Betty asks. "Yes!" Nick says loudly. Chris waves the waiter over.

"Hello my name is Jake how may I help you tonight?" Jake says looking at his paper and pad. "Hello Jake. I'm going to order first, I would like a salmon. And for drinks hmmm. Anything you suggest?" Chris asks. "Chris," Jake asks taking a better look at him, "Hey Chris!" Chris sinks down in his chair, "Fuck." He curses under his breathe. "Hey Jake can we order?" Ted asks getting annoyed. "Oh yeah sorry. For drinks I suggest the chocolate mud slide. It's the best seller." Jake suggests. "I'll have that! Someone else order now." Chris replies. "I'll have the steak and this one the same thing please." Betty orders for her and Nick. "I'll have a watermelon martini." Ted orders. Jake finishes writing their orders. "I'll be back."

Chris sits back up in his chair and let's out a sigh. "Ohh Chris~" Betty coos. "He's nothing Betty. Just some new guy at work." Chris replies. "Yea and I don't like him. He is literally all over Chris." Ted growls. Betty laughs and leans her head on Chris' shoulder, "Does this bother you?" She teases. "No because Chris is gay." Ted laughs. "Well Ima stay like this since we're pals." She smirks up at Chris, Chris returns the smirk. "Well I'm glad you two are finally getting along." Nick says.

The group talks about random topics and Chris and Betty actually have a good time. After 20 minutes of talking their food finally arrives. "Here you are." Jake says putting the mud slide in front of Chris and the rest of the food on the table. "Enjoy." Jake says leaving. "We aren't leaving him a tip." Ted says. "Fine by me." Nick laughs taking a bite of his steak. "Give me that." Betty says taking Chris' mud slide. "Woah that is strong." Betty laughs shaking her head. "Yeah I know right." Chris laughs. "Well our dates are drunk." Ted laughs. "Oh that's fun!" Nick laughs as well. "We should go back to our place and build a fort!" Chris shouts standing up. "Yas!! Let's go!" Betty says grabbing Chris then running out of the restaurant. Nick and Ted exchange looks and go pay for the bill before following them outside. "Can Chris and I ride together?" Betty asks. "Betty you are gonna ride with me because I don't wanna be alone in the car." Nick says. "But I wanna ride with Chris!" Betty whines. "Don't worry Betty you are coming over right?" Chris looks at Ted and Nick. "Yes they are." Ted replies. Chris and Betty cheer like two little kids who were going on a play date. "It's like talking to children when they are drunk." Ted laughs. "Tell me about. Alright Betty let's go. We'll follow you." Nick says. Him and Betty walk to they car and Ted and Chris do the same.

"I'm glad you gotta along with Betty. I'm proud of y-" Ted was cut off by Chris suddenly kissing him. Ted didn't hesitate to kiss him back. "Ever want to do it in a car." Chris laughs. Ted smirks and pushes him off playfully. "We are going home." He says as he starts to drive.
