An Open Door

Light flooded into a dark room, leaking in to flood the area with what had been held out, what had been unwanted.  The vines and leaves poured onto the floor and scattered with the breeze that threatened to creak the door open wider, threatening to cause an tidal wave of things.  The child inside was scared of what was going on, these new things he had been sheltered from.  The leaves tickled his toes, the breeze froze his warm skin, the light blinding his eyes.  He didn't know what to do; he was all alone to face this problem.  The door swung open with a sudden gust of wind, all light flooding in at once.  Soon the boy's eyes adjusted and what he was was beautiful.  The trees stood tall and proud, the lake was crystal clear, vibrant Koi fish swimming gently through the waters.  He had never seen such a beautiful sight...
