34. I love you

Author's POV

Jin walked along the shore, kicking the stones grumpily with his mind baffled yet disappointed

He then let out a deep breath and slumped down on the sand, and recalling about what just happened

*Flashback*

"Like this", Jin wrapped his hand around Eun Hee's wrist and hung up the phone

Eun Hee gasped and eyes widen

She thought he left
But, he didn't
He was ready to chase her wherever she goes

"So that you won't escape from me anymore", he whispered near her temple which caused chills ran down her spine

She brought herself back to reality, and let his arms unclasped her waist

But, he held her tighter and pulled her nearer than before

"Let go", she sighed

"I won't", he replied

"I said let go", she sternly raised her voice

Jin was taken aback by the sudden explosion of her and reluctantly let her out from his grip

She didn't look at back to him but instead paced ahead

Jin quickly caught her wrist, stopping her to do so and turned her around

His face changed into a serious one, staring at her eyes deeply and passionately

"Do you think I would let you go easily?", he spoke out

She glared at him back, struggling to let out of his grip

"If I was thinking to let you go then I wouldn't come to Gyeong Ju just to find you", "Even when the girl lied, I wouldn't have rushed to the train station just to meet you", "And, I wouldn't have driven here just to catch you", he chuckled bitterly

"I swear, I have so many chances to drift away"
"But, I didn't", he added

"You know why?",
"Because you are important to me"
"Because I couldn't send you off easily"
"We hasn't even started anything, and yet why should we give up so easily?", he showed his determination

"Because we were crumbled up", Eun Hee cut him off

"Because this thing shouldn't be started", she continued while controlling her emotions

"Everything was a mistake", she said almost in a whisper

"I love you!", he raised his voice and let his fingers ran between his hair in frustration

"Nothing was a mistake for me!", "Everytime I spent with you was beautiful", he explained

"Why don't you understand me?", Jin pulled her wrist, causing her head bumped onto his chest

She could clearly hear his heart raising beat by beat

She closed her eyes in return, calming herself down in the rhythm of his heart

He hugged her tightly as if she were a plush and closed his eyes to immerse in the moment

"Can you hear how fast it is beating?", he said
He parted from the embrace and looked down just to grab her wrist and put her hand on his left chest
