"No," he chuckled softly. "Not at all." Slowly he moved his hand from my cheek, pushing a strand of my hair behind my ear very gently before he let his hand come to a rest on my arm. "In fact, I really enjoyed that."

"Me too," I told him sincerely. "I really did." We just sat there in silence, enjoying the moment we just shared. I let my fingers wander down his arm, loving that I could see that he enjoyed it. I reached for his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze when I could feel him reciprocate that action.

"Do you want another marshmallow?" He asked, making me laugh softly. "What?" He inquired, smiling widely at me.

"Nothing," I told him, shaking my head. "Nothing at all, don't worry. I think I could go for another marshmallow, yeah. I don't think the fire will last much longer."

"Should I throw on another log?" He asked.

I shook my head. "No, I think that's okay. We can just go lie down soon."

"Are you still okay with sharing a bed?" He wanted to know, turning his head to look at me with a smile.

I chuckled and looked at him with the same expression. "Yes, I'm perfectly fine with that, don't worry. I promised I'd tell you if I'm not comfortable, didn't I?"

"Yes, you did," he said, nodding a little. "I just wanted to make sure you know that it's still okay for you to do that." He kissed my cheek very softly before he got a couple more marshmallows ready for us.

I didn't say anything, I simply watched him. He looked incredibly handsome, as always, and like before the warm colours of the fire, though slowly fading, only increased that effect. Hoping I wouldn't startle him too much, I reached out and tried to gently push some of his curls back a little so I could have a better look at his profile. I was trying to soak up as much of this view of him as I could.

It only took a moment before he turned his head and gave me his heart-melting smile. "Everything all right?"

"Everything is wonderful. I just can't take my eyes off you, you're... you look..." I shook my head a little and shrugged. "There's no word for it."

Brian's smile widened and he shuffled a little closer to me, reaching for my hand again. "Thank you... you're so sweet." He took my hand in his and lifted it up, softly kissing the back of my hand.

I smiled widely and closed my eyes for a moment. That had to be the sweetest thing a man had ever done for me. ""You're so cute," I sighed softly.

"I am?" He asked, smiling widely at me.

Nodding, I took his hand in both of mine. "You are.." I just looked at him and smiled, hoping he could see how much I was enjoying his affection. Neither of us had to say anything. Slowly we leaned in until our lips met in a quick, but tender kiss.

When I looked at Brian, he was smiling widely, but what killed me a little inside was that he was biting his bottom lip, staring at me intently. Immediately I could feel the effect his intense gaze had on me. I took a deep breath, but I didn't take my eyes off him, I was enjoying it too much. "When are the marshmallows done?" I asked him, letting a smile play on my lips. For a moment I allowed myself to let my eyes explore his face, his body, because how could I not?

"I think they will need a kiss or two longer," he teased, winking at me.

I chuckled and licked my lips. "Very smooth."

"Yeah?" He asked, placing his hand on my back.

"Mhm," I confirmed, turning my head towards him. I waggled my eyebrows, smirking at him before I gently placed my hand on his cheek and pulled his head a little closer to mine. He leaned a little closer until our breaths were intermingling. I let my eyes wander down his face before I met his eyes once more, our expressions mirrored each other. My eyelids fluttered shut moments before our lips met in a soft, and yet demanding kiss. When Brian placed his hand on my waist, gently moving me a little closer to him, I let out a soft sigh, deepening the kiss a little more. We got completely lost in each other, alternating between soft and gentle kisses and demanding, passionate kisses, it was so easy to forget about the world around us.
