My love for you
Is a bullet
Slamming into your chest
Like a million cannons

Why can't I be like you
So hard to ignore
But so easy
to be ignored

It isn't fair
Why did you blame this on me
My love for you
Is impenetrable

All through the night
You slumber easily
Like I did
So long ago

You fill my thoughts now
A million bees
Buzzing in my head
Is it possible to ignore you?

Why won't you love me
In return for all that I have loved you
I have been rejected
Locked into my personal jail

Only you can break me free
From my self-imposed prison
But you won't
As you ignore me for eternity

My love for you
Was once described as a bullet
Now I call it bulletproof
But you're the one that shot me

I'm dying
Dying for your love
You have refused me
So I refuse life in return
