i was a fan. just like the whole fandom. i had a favorite. i cried over him. i laughed because of him. i dedicated my life to four idiots. my favorite idiot was ashton irwin.

i would sit in my room looking at a picture of him on my phone or watching a video on my laptop. i would cry whenever a fetus picture popped up on my tumblr. i would read fanfictions about them. it's just what we did.

i cried a lot. i cried because i knew ashton would never hold me in his arms the way. i knew i would never hear his laugh in person. i knew i would never be the one who caused him to giggle adorably.

i was stuck in the fanzone.

that was four months ago.

now,

i'm ashton's girlfriend. he loves me the way i love him. finally.

i finally met him four months ago at mcdonald's. they were playing a concert in my town. i couldn't go because i was broke, like always. i had just decided to stop at mcdonald's, not expecting anything except a big mac and a side of fries. when i was ordering, someone tapped on my back.

- flashback -

"excuse me." i freeze for a moment. i know the voice. it's deep and australian. slowly, i turn around. i try not to scream as i see ashton irwin standing in front of me. i can't help it when a small smile makes its way onto my face.

"y-yes?" the smile grows unintentionally.

"oh, are you a fan?" he asks with a smile. i can't help but giggle happily.

"yeah, a big one." the smile on his face grows as he looks at me. i about pass out. he's even cuter in person.

"i uh... i knew we had hot fans, but damn. hot is an understatement for you." i gasp but quickly close my mouth. i don't need him thinking im a weirdo. "wanna go get a drink or something?"

"don't you have a show to play?" i ask, trying my best to speak.

"i have some time." i smile and nod. ashton grabs my hand and walks with me out of mcdonald's, my heart increasing speed with every step.
