Tyler was lonely, hurt, emotionless boy who thought everyone was all the same no one was different all a copy of one another.

*Tyler's' pov*

I saw no point in living a long meaningful life, in fact I didn't really want to live at all, that is until I met Joshua dun a kind, selfless, hopeful person who still had his own problems with anxiety but didn't let it show on the outside he was strong.

I was sitting on the steps out side my house while it was raining so hard it was almost hail, my jacket was soaked through my hair was wet and my fingertips were numb.

I would Stay outside for a while until my mother calls me to come inside because 'its too cold for me to be out there 'then id stumble inside and sit, just sit and stare at a bare wall.

I quite enjoyed being outside in the freezing rain but i guess looking through the window will have to do for now.

"Tyler, honey I have to go to work its an emergency ill be there all night there's pizza money on the kitchen table" she tells me from the other room, then she swiftly walks out the front door and drives off. I continue to watch the rain from inside when I see a boy wearing a black hoody and skinny jeans walking by silently sobbing, he looked skinny, fragile in dire need of reassurance.

I instantly feel guilt deep in my stomach knowing that if I don't let him in I will feel even more guilty till I do

I open the front door and call to him "hey! hey uhh are you ok do you wanna come inside!" he looks with at me with teary eyes and doubt "why should i trust you. a person calling out to me that I have never met in my life for all I know you'll lock me up an cut me to pieces?" I reply with a sarcastic remark without even thinking "fine stay out looks like you're having a great time anyway. oh and uh its only supposed to get colder and turn into hail soon so i suggest you come in"  he lets out a small sigh "fine but if you try anything I'll call the cops" he steps inside and lifts his jumper his shirt coming with it.

the boy pulls it back down quickly blushing slightly then finishes taking of his jumper and places it down.

he sits down on a chair I bring him hot coffee "how'd you know I like coffee?" he said with an impressed look and smirk on his face "you're seem like the type of person".

we both giggled and continued talking for a while. I ordered pizza for both of us then we sat on the couch together with light rain drops soothing us to sleep
