Pixlr, Photoshop CS6 and CS2. I'm hoping to use CS2 more since it's more convenient for me and I'm in the process of figuring out Topaz Clean as well.
"on average, how long does it take you to make a graphic?"
It varies. The other week I made a graphic in 20 minutes, and sometimes they take me a couple days because I don't have the ability to focus on a graphic for over an hour or two.
"what program did you first use on your beginner covers?"
In my first covers, I used PicMonkey. That was lots of fun, TBH. But after that, I pretty much jumped straight into Pixlr, and I never really went back.

Around 7, maybe? I'm not insecure about my "skills" but I definitely have a ton to learn.
