Bad Guy

I said something that I made a promise to,

But now that I'm here, I see that's something I cannot do.

Make the point that I am always wrong, but you just don't get it.

If I'm to help you, then stop making me feel worthless, it's digging your

own pit.

You want to be treated like a human, but refuse to return the favor.

When I say that we need food, you don't help only saying later.

Later, always and always, but you don't see what's happening now.

Oh, I'm sorry that you think I'm upset just because you raised a brow.

I'm not stupid, nor did I ever think you were,

I'm actually nothing like you, big sir,

All day, every day it's what happened on the tops.

Sometimes I wish I was able to take to your roofs and make your life just

drop.

You owe me nothing, nothing but something positive to make me stay,

You crushed my hope and keep taking the things that still last and get

me through the long days.

If I can't do what keeps me calm,

Then how am I supposed to give you all my attention as if you're an

aerosol bomb?

I have no one, but I know where they've gone.

I've tried reaching you, but you say you don't like my tone.

I'm getting so much closer,

And the only thought you have is "who's her?"

That "little girl" is lost, she'll never return,

My Teacher, here's something now for you to learn;

Neither of us are what we used to be,

So now that time is getting cut short, hopefully you listen to me.

You're not my teacher, not a hero, a parent, yes,

Just give it a rest.

A promise I meant not to break,

But I need to or the promise will break me like an axe to crate.

I am so sorry,

My sky full of galaxies, now isn't as starry.

I know how this ends,

Parent and child can never stay friends.

You can say how I'm wrong, evil, and twisted,

That without you, I wouldn't have existed.

Fine. If this a DC comic,

Then I guess I'm the Bad Guy drawn cover on it.
