I was halfway through an episode of NCIS when the doorbell to my house rang.

"Of course." I groaned.

Every time I get comfy someone manages to screw it up. My eyes were closed when I yanked the door open.

"Bryce, I told you I wanted to be-" I opened my eyes to see that the person at the door wasn't Bryce, "Alone..."

It was Justin. He had tears in his eyes, but it looked like he had been crying for hours.

"Can I come in?" he whispered.

I nodded, stepping aside to let him in. He walked straight to the couch, so I closed the front door and followed him.

"I didn't mean to interrupt your show." he mumbled as I took a seat next to him, "You can keep watching."

My hand found itself rested on top of one of his arms, "Justey... what happened?"

"Jessica broke up with me." he angrily wiped his eyes and stared down at his lap.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Why would she do that?"

"She's dating Montgomery now."

A pang of guilt sprang through me at his words. That's who Monty was dating now.

I watched as a couple of tears ran down Justin's cheeks. I felt bad, because apparently this was my fault. Without thinking, I wrapped my arms around the boy and pulled him into a hug.

He softly cried into my shoulder. The boy who was normally so strong and hard, was so weak and vulnerable right now. Why did he come to me though? I thought he was mad at me.

I pulled a blanket down from the back of the couch to cover us, he seemed a little cold. When I let go of him, he repositioned himself on the couch, laying his head in my lap.

"You can watch your show again." he mumbled.

I nodded and hit play on the episode, running my fingers through Justin's hair.

Next thing I knew, it was 2am, I had just finished another episode of NCIS, and Justin was dead asleep.

I turned off the remote and softly shook him awake. He rubbed his eyes as he opened them, looking up at me.

"Can I, uh... stay here tonight?" he mumbled in his raspy 'I just woke up' voice.

I nodded, "Go back to my room, you know where it is."

He got up off the couch and headed toward my room. I on the other hand, went to make sure the door was locked and to get him some pj pants. My brother was off at college, so I went into his room and got a pair of pants that Justin could wear.

I finally made it to my room and tossed the pants to Justin, who was sitting on my bed. He caught them and immediately went into the bathroom to change.

"Thanks for the pants." he mumbled as he returned to my room.

I softly smiled as I continued to brush out my hair, "No problem, Justey."

A few minutes passed and he was almost dead asleep in my bed. I didn't care though, I'd just sleep on the couch tonight. Honestly, I might want to watch some more NCIS so I'm not complaining.

"Where are you gonna sleep?" he spoke up, grabbing my attention.

I gestured toward the living room, "Imma take the couch tonight."

He shot up shuffling over to me, the pants were a little long on him. It was actually kinda cute. His hands gripped my bare arm.

"I can't let you do that. I'd feel like a terrible person for taking your bed."

I put my free hand on his bare chest, "I'll be fine, Justey."

"Sleep with me."

I raised my eyebrows, "You know I have a boyfriend."

"I'm not gonna make a move on you, I just don't want to be alone right now." his expressions shifted... to what? I don't know.

A sigh escaped my mouth. I give up. All I did was nod, signaling to Justin that his idea would work. He went back to the bed and got under the covers while I turned the lights off. I shuffled across my carpeted floors and crawled into my bed beside the boy. A couple minutes passed and I could hear his soft snores. He had fallen asleep.

All of a sudden, Justin wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me close to him. He probably was thinking that I was Jessica. I tenses up when he kissed my temple.

He's asleep, Crystal. I thought to myself, he probably doesn't even know what he's doing.

"Goodnight, Crys."

Oh no.
