We had the best summer when we were eight. I waited for the next summer eagerly, but you didn't come. You didn't come for the next eight years.
I was sixteen when I was sitting on the porch of my house and reading magazines. I saw you coming out of your Grandpa's house. You looked so handsome and a tad different, but I could recognize you easily. I peeked from my book slyly and our eyes met.
You looked away and I pinched myself. Of course you would have forgotten me. Suddenly, you turned around and shouted, "Meet me by the coast at five! We can build sandcastles together."
