"Go kill yourself"

"Eww look at that face"

"Loser"

"Dork"

"Fatty"

"Loner"

All these words echoed in Rena's head, impossible to stop. Unwanted tears rolled down her cold cheeks, making itself welcome. Rena sat on her bed, hugging her legs as tightly as she could, rocking herself.

Why is this world so cruel?

Trying to get away from her thoughts, she took her headphones and started to listen to some music.

Usually music is an escape, but not this time.

I have these thoughts
So often I ought
To replace that slot
With what I once bought
'Cause somebody stole
My car radio
And now I just sit in silence

All her thoughts she so desperately wanted to lock away, came rushing back as she heard the lyrics of the song.

Sometimes quiet is violent
I find it hard to hide it
My pride is no longer inside
It's on my sleeve
My skin will scream
Reminding me of
Who I killed inside my dream
I hate this car that I'm driving
There's no hiding for me
I'm forced to deal with what I feel
There is no distraction to mask what is real
I could pull the steering wheel

"That's it..." Rena whispered to herself. She stood up and her hand ached to get it out. She took out her blade.

"If it won't quiet down, I'll make it."

She neared it to her arm, "But this time permanently..."

DO IT!

DO IT!
Her demons rejoiced, encouraging her.

She used all her strength and fastly drew a perfect deep line in her flesh. Blood seeped out immediatly.
Before it was too late, she did it to her other arm, without hesitation.

She went through with it this time.

There was no note, because what she had done was unexplainable in words and an action full of selfishness.

But yet, as she drifted in the darkness, her tormenting thoughts were no longer there,rather replaced with the stinging pain of peace.

There was no regret
No doubt
No sadness

I finally get to be happy

She smiled and drifted away, leaving a lifeless body behind.

Leaving her demons behind
Only to torment others.
