I wear a mask and it's somebody I'm not. I don't know who I am anymore. I've worn this mask for so long that I didn't realize I lost myself while trying to hide from everybody else. Sticks can't break my bones but rocks can. Words will rip my skin apart. I wear a mask to hide my broken sole, red eyes, and heartbreak. I have red eyes because I cry. I wear a mask so people will think I'm always happy when they don't know the real girl behind the mask. I haven't been alright for four years.
