The moment you left me behind,
It became impossible for me to find,
The reason why you left my hand,
Felt as if my soul drifted away, like sand...No matter how hard I try,
No matter how long I cry,
Some pieces of my broken heart,
Continue to pierce me by and by...Till my last breath, I shall remember,
The dates of our meetings in number,
But it will take a century to forget,
That why did you make my smile too sombre.©Sakshi Dubey
Message from Adhish:
The hardest part of an ending relationship is probably the process of putting behind memories to which we would wake up to everyday. Things said and done in love are possibly the most confusing part in our lifetime. The poetess, Sakshi Dubey depicts the pain and anguish of heartbreaks through her poem titled 'Last Breath' and I'm sure many of you will relate to the visuals manifested through her work.
Shout out to Sakshi if you relate to her poem. If you have a similar or heartbreaking story to share through your poetic piece then do send in your piece to me.
