I'm in front of a building.. It's an entertainment company, obviously.
If i wasn't just desperate, I wouldn't have come.
A manager? Isn't that like a nanny? A person who run errands? A person that they can just boss around?
I entered the building, it's just a small building. There's no people around who i can ask where the hiring office is.
At last, a guy came down from the stairs holding a two breads both on his hands and i immediately walk towards him
"Hi!" I said to him
"Hey." He said with his captivating smile, can he even see me with that eye smile of his?
"I just wanna ask where's the hiring office is?"
"Hiring office? Is there such thing on here?" I look at him confusingly and he was confuse as well
"Wait let me just ask hyung, wait a minute there." He then run downs the stairs, is he going to the basement?
A few minutes after that he came back still holding the two breads as if he's protecting it from someone
"He said just go upstairs and you'll see people there." He said once again with his smile
"Uh, okay. Thanks" i just said and went upstairs. Like he said, there were people there, i went to the first person i saw and ask the same thing. The woman pointed me towards a room and its look like its the CEO room.. I don't know
I knock and i heard someone said "Come in" so i did
"Hi." I said
"Hello, sit down" he said and I did sit down because I just walk to get to this building and I'm tired as hell
"I'm Aly Tinkerbell, I just graduated from college so you can assure I can do well on this job"
"So I assume your here to apply for the manager spot?" I nod
"Yes, sir. If it's still available."
"Oh its available, but there's a problem." I took a big gulp, i hate 'but there's a problem' ... Why there's gotta be a problem? Can i just have the job normally?
"It's just that, we have never hired a girl manager. And you're a fresh graduate, can't you find other job?" he then ask... Obviously, I wouldn't be here if I have found myself a more nice job
"There's nothing available right now sir and I really need something if I want to live and pay my bills" He nods, as if he understand what's going on and why I'm here
"Just to let you know, this boys are a little bit stubborn and a bit loud and whiny."
"I siriusly assure you sir that I can handle them." I answered back immediately
"Are you sure?" He asked
"Yes sir" I said without hesitation
"Well then, the pay is $300. If you want free accommodation and food and some inclusions then your salary will be cut off to $250."
I thought about it, i think it would be better if I get the free accommodation so I wouldn't worry about paying the bill myself since I always forget to pay.
"I'll take the free accommodation."
"Okay then, you'll live next door to the boys so that if they need something then your just a few steps away." He pulled out some papers which I assume is the contract
"Don't worry, they may be a little bit stubborn, loud and whiny, they're a bunch of good kids." I don't get him, he just said they're stubborn and now he's gonna say they're good kids? Is he trying to make me feel better? i just smiled at him
I sign the contract, it stated that I can quit anytime after 5 months.
"Andrea will tell you where the boys is and what your jobs gonna be." I said my thanks and I went outside the office. A girl whose wearing a framed glasses walks toward me
"Hi, I'm Andrea." He said with a smile
"I'm Aly." I said, i don't know what to say anymore so I just smiled, again. How many times am I gonna smile today, this is tiring already
We went downstairs, its kind of like a basement, but there were two rooms, the one room door is open and its look like that is were the food and some things are.
"You probably know what a manager does. You will run errands for the guys, usually just accompanying them to their schedules and making sure they're provided what they needed like foods and making sure they're not doing something stupid."
"Kind of lots to do." I whispered, she then laugh making me think that she heard what I said
"The one advantage you have is that you have the company's credit card to feed the boys and like what I said, provide what they needed for daily living. So if you're a little bit mischievous, you can always blackmail them" she then winked at me, i just laugh it off
"So just go inside that door, i had to do something right now so i can't accompany you furthermore"
"Don't worry, they'll introduce themselves to you, they're good kids"
"And good luck, welcome to the family" she then hug me which really did surprise me
Well, this is nerve wracking? What if they're a bunch of idiots? What if they will make fun of me always? What did i just get myself into?
You can do this Aly! The credit card is on your hand so they wont eat unless i say to. Well, that's a good thing, i can use something to blackmail them like what Andrea said
I was suppose to open the door when i heard a bunch of noises on the other room, what the hell is going on there? Aish, never mind that.
I open the door and i saw a practice room, with six guys on there, sitting on the floor, in front of a flat screen TV
They were surprise just like me.
They all suddenly stand up and greeted me
"Wanna be your star! Hello! We're Astro!"

I dont know how the salary pay goes on other countries so I just made it all up
