[FACEBOOK STATUS/ SYNOPSIS]

  I applied for a scholarship program at NYU, and was lucky to be accepted. Part of me didn't want to go, pero ginusto ko naman 'to eh. It would be my chance to start fresh, without anyone holding me back.

"Flight JKL513 is now boarding. Please proceed to gate..." That's my flight! Kit grabbed my hand as we headed to immigration. Neither of us spoke. Neither of us wanted to say goodbye.
"Liv," Kit called softly, holding my wrists. "Olivia," he repeated.

I bit my quivering lip and looked up at him. I saw pain in his eyes. He lowered my hands and cupped my face as he wiped my tears away with his thumbs.
"I don't want to say goodbye," I whispered in between sobs.
"Then don't," he replied calmly.
"It's not goodbye, it's 'see you later,' 'di ba?"

He shook his head and flashed me a warm smile. "No," he said, as he reached into his pocket. Before I could even anticipate what was about to happen, he got down on one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?"
