CHAPTER 2

"Babe!! I have a good news!"

"What it is?" Thomas asked.

"I just read an email coming from the Moon Creates saying that I can go for an interview. Omgggg, this is it babe.." Maluha luhang kwento ni Ara sa boyfriend nya.

"I'm so happy for you! We need to celebrate it agad agad." Thomas exclaimed it with so much happiness. "Wait babe, di pa naman tayo sure about don eh, and malay mo diba hindi naman ako matanggap. Konti pa lang credentials ko when it comes to acting. Alam naman natin na magagaling ang hinahanap ng Moon Creates.."

"Babe.." 

"You know just thinking about what if's.." yumakap si Ara kay Thomas and he instantly hugged her back and kiss her temples.

"You know babe, let's just think positive right now. Don't be too negative babe, kukunin ka nila. Hindi ba nila alam na you're one of the newest and hottest artist? hahaha.." Ara chuckled. "But babe, let me tell you this, I love you always. And no matter what happen tomorrow, I'll still be your number 1 fan.."

"I love you too, Thomas. I'll always be.."

"Ara where are you? You're not answering my calls. What happened?" Thomas asked her thru phone.

"Babe, I got the job.."

"Really!? Babe, we need to celebrate it!"

"Babe.." Ara slightly sobs..

"Babe? What happen? Why are you crying? Are you not happy?" Thomas asked.

"Let's end this."

"W-what? What the fuck Ara! What are you saying? This is not funny.."

"I'm sorry, let's end this."

"Thomas.."

"Yes mom?"

"How are you feeling right now?" his Mom who asked. He smiled.

"I'm more than happy mom right now. Imagine mom, my published story will be on big screen.."

"No, son.. I'm asking you what you feel after you knew that Ara will be the one who act as Victoria?". His smile fade away, "Mom, I'm happy for her.. but the pain she left with me, it's still here.."

"You'll meet her tomorrow.." 

"I know mom, and it's not a good idea.. I don't know what to do or to act."

"I'm gonna tell you this my son, I know it's been years since the last time she left you. But son, I think it's time for you to move on and let go. Isn't to unfair for your side that Ara is happy in her life now, while you still in your place where she left you? I'm telling you this because I love you son.." her mom wiped his tears, "and I know how much pain she caused and the pain is still there and I want you to let it go. I want my son back.. i miss my Thomas.."

"Mom.. I'll try, it's still here. I still remember the exact words she says when she left me alone. And I keep asking myself what did I do? Nasasakal ko na ba sya? Am I not worthy of her explanation? Yun lang naman gusto ko Ma, yung explanation nya why she left me.."

Crying.. he knows that the only way for him to subside the pain is to cry. Who would thought that the mighty Thomas was sobbing? It's been years, but the pain is still here, he thought.

Ara's POV

"Ara, anong oras na!"

"Wait lang po tita! Paalis na po ako" sabi ni Ara sa kabilang linya.

"Alam mo naman iha na maaga ang meeting mo ngayon kasama ang writer ng panibago mong movie. Alam mo naman din na ayaw na ayaw ni Direk na may nalalate diba? Tapos ikaw pa ang bida don. Dalian mo, papasundo na lang kita kay manong Rey."

"Opo tita, sorry na kasi. Paalis na nga po ako diba? Nakalimutan ko lang kunin yung phone ko kaya bumalik ako dito sa bahay, kaya nga po di ko nasagot tawag mo eh."

"Oh sge dalian mo na, nasa baba na daw si manong Rey, hinihintay ka na"

"Opo sige, bababa na po. Love you 'ta!"

"Oh sige, mag-ingat kayo ha? Love you too din."

Bakit kasi sa dami ng pweding makalimutan yung phone ko pa, kainis. Pagbaba ko ng parking lot, agad kong pinuntahan si manong Rey and pinagbuksan naman nya ng pinto at umalis na kami.

Sa tatlong taon na nakakalipas, ngayon ko na lang sya makikita muli. Ang dami kasing nangyari sa buhay ko. Di naman ako agad binigyan ng pelikula, dalawang buwan muna bago ako sinalang sa isang teleserye and syempre di naman ako agad sumikat. Ang dami kong sinayang na taon, at sa loob ng tatlong taon na yon, sya pa din naman. Wala pa din namang pinagbago.

Hindi ko alam na sa pag-alis ko, makakalikha pala siya ng isang libro. Ang unang libro na patungkol sa aming dalawa, at ngayon hindi ko alam kung paano ang gagawin ko dahil si Victoria na bida sa kwento ay sya din pala yon. 

Tumingin muna ako sa bintana at masasabi kong naging masaya din naman ang career ko, ang daming pinagbago mula sa katulad ko 3 years ago. Hindi ko namalayan na nandito na pala kami sa labas ng agency.

"Maam Krisha, nandito na po tayo.."

"Thank you manong Rey, ingat po kayo. Itetext ko na lang po kayo kapag magpapasundo na kami ni Tita.." Tumungo muna ako kay manong Rey at lumabas.

Habang naghihintay ng elevator, and daming what ifs na pumapasok sa isip ko. What if kung pinagpatuloy namin? What if kung kami pa din hanggang ngayon? magiging masaya kaya ako? 

Ting!

Pumasok na ko sa elevator at pinindot ang floor kung saan gaganapin yung meeting. Pasara na sana ang elevator nang pumigil dito.

"Wait lang.." 

Tumigil sandali ang pangyayari sa buhay ko, ang gwapo pa din.

"Ar-Krisha.."

"Thomas.."
