I was at home on the couch with my best friend Isaac. We were watching a movie and for some reason Isaac wasn't concentrating on the movie and so i lost interest in the movie too
" okay as much as I hate stopping in the middle of my favourite movie but I'm gonna "
" why ?"
" your clearly not interested in it what is going on Isaac " I said stating the obvious
" we need to talk Sarah " the atmosphere just got serious
" w-what about ?"
" there is not easy way to say this to you but ... " he hesitated and that just made me frustrated
" but what Isaac you can't stop in the middle of a sentence "
" but ... I don't wanna be your friend "
" w-what w-why Isaac what have i done wrong " i said my eyes starting to fill with tears
" n-n don't cry "
" b-b-but your just gonna leave here with no explanation "
" i cant be your friend because .... "
" because ... again with the hesitating Isaac "
" I don't wanna be your friend I wanna be your lover "
I stopped and looked at him for a moment
" Wow " was all i could get out of me
" I declare my love for you and all you say is wow ?"
" I'm sorry Isaac it's just all of a sudden I don't know how to react "
" it's fine just take your time "
Half an hour has passed and neither of us had said anything
" I obviously love you too Isaac "
" but ?"
" but it will get some time to look at you the same way you look at me "
" so you don't like me like that " he said and lowered her head
" I do Isaac I have for many years and it was like and open door I had shut and its just like you've reopened it and all these emotions and feelings for you are just coming back and its hard to process "
" so you do like me .... like me as a lover "
" and not like a friend " that day and what came after was amazing
