I waited for her in front of her house, watching her room's window.

I couldn't help but fondly smile up at her when she opened it before meeting my eyes.

She waved at me happily and left, the light thumping on the stairs from the inside of the house reaching my ears.

"Hi!" She greeted as soon as she opened the main door. "Let's go."

I resisted the urge of telling her she looked cute.
