I sat under a tree here at the park. It's 8 in the morning, and summer had just begun. I bet teenagers like me would be staying in their houses, probably locked in their rooms surfing the net while listening to their own music playlists. Others would plan and hangout with their friends or go out on a date with someone special to them.
But me.
I'm waiting.
Waiting for her.
I bet you're wondering who she is.
Actually,
I'm as clueless as you.
Crazy right?
Yeah I'm crazy I admit.
But who wouldn't go crazy if that one person always invade your head night and day?
And you have no clue.
And it kills me everyday,
Because I don't know her name.
I can't stop thinking about her.
I always remember that day when I first saw her.
She was at the playground, sitting on the swing set taking pictures with her digicam. She was alone, but still she seemed happy of what she was doing.
Happy and not a care in the world.
Her hair flows gracefully in natural brown curls, her skin flawlessly white. She looked so good even in just a loose shirt and jeans.
But when she looked at me, when our eyes met, it's like everything around us suddenly disappeared, and only two of us are there.
Just us two.
Her eyes are those mezmerizing brown orbs that you would be drawn into.
And oh God that smile.
That smile brightened everything around her.
It was so exhilirating.
Right then and there, she had punched a hole right through my heart.
We were like that for a while. Neither of us looked away.
But then her friends came, and pulled her away,
And then she was gone.
That's when I realize,
"Damn! I should've asked her name!"
I would've awarded myself as the "Dumbest person alive."
It kills me everyday.
I can't stop thinking about her.
Everyday I always tell myself of "How dumb I was."
But I won't give up yet.
I will wait here, everyday.
And when that day comes,
Finally,
I would get to know her,
Spend time with her,
Ask her out.
But first,
I will ask her name.
