Darkness.
Shadows.
Numbness.

I wasn't thankful for the lack of pain because I knew the numbness meant I was one step closer to death.

WHAM!

My vision came back, the sharp pain warping it. I heard another muffled thump. I was being kicked. The edges of my sight blurred like frost on glass. My breathing became labored. I tried to lift my head but something was holding it down.

The walls of my cell were back, the familiarity giving me some consolation and peace. I touched my stomach. Blood. A lot of it.

I couldn't see, blinded by my pain. Panic, the familier feeling clawed up my throat, seeped into my lungs, gripped my heart. I was gasping, unable to draw a breath.

A white light.

A figure.

A girl

"Shhhh, sleep." She murmured "I'm here to take care of you." My head must have been pretty messed up because the last thing I saw were bluebells. Then everything opened up from underneath me.

I fell.

Hi guys, so I'm not a professional writer but I hope my words are enough to give you some enjoyment. The first chapter is really short but it's just the precurser to a (hopefully) decent story.
