Darkness.
Shadows.
Numbness.I wasn't thankful for the lack of pain because I knew the numbness meant I was one step closer to death.
WHAM!
My vision came back, the sharp pain warping it. I heard another muffled thump. I was being kicked. The edges of my sight blurred like frost on glass. My breathing became labored. I tried to lift my head but something was holding it down.
The walls of my cell were back, the familiarity giving me some consolation and peace. I touched my stomach. Blood. A lot of it.
I couldn't see, blinded by my pain. Panic, the familier feeling clawed up my throat, seeped into my lungs, gripped my heart. I was gasping, unable to draw a breath.
A white light.
A figure.
A girl
"Shhhh, sleep." She murmured "I'm here to take care of you." My head must have been pretty messed up because the last thing I saw were bluebells. Then everything opened up from underneath me.
I fell.
