Today, we take time to pause, and mourn the loss of thousands of eggs.
Probably yesterday, thousands of innocent, happy eggs were brutally taken from their joyful homes in the fridge, and drowned in a pot of boiling water. Thousands more were stabbed and left to slowly bleed out by hundreds upon thousands of Pinterest Prodigies and copycats.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the boiled bodies of our dear egg friends were disgraced by being dipped in colorful chemicals, scribbled on with wax crayons, and plastered with stickers. The bodies of the eggs that were victims of Pinterest users were covered in hot glue, glitter, shaving cream, and many other useless trinkets that desecrated the integrity of those poor eggs.
I have a dream that one day egg cruelty will cease to exist.
We must take action to prevent such carnage.
