“I don’t think I can survive without you. When we were driving back here, I was so upset you weren't talking to me. I didn't like it at all.”
He frowns. “I’m sorry, but I was trying to convince myself that I don’t like you any more than a friend.”
I turn to him and notice that he’s a lot closer to me than before. I didn’t mind this closeness, I wanted him closer. “And how is that working out for you?” I ask looking up at him innocently.
He looks down at me and smiles. He grabs a lock of my hair and puts it behind my ear and cups my chin with his hand. “Not very well.” He starts to lean down as he wraps his other arm around my waist pulling me closer until our chests touched.
“Good.”
