They never tell you when you're twelve years old
That when you become thirteen
Your life will be messed up
Someway or another it wouldn't go like how you used to dream

Either when you walk down the road
Alone,
Someone will grab your ass
Or they will 'check you out'
And the next thing you know is
Your little self is naked on their bedroom
Wanting to ask them to fuck off
But you bite tongue swallowing all the words
And shoving them into your rib cage:
A hornet's nest buzzing below your heart
Reminding it not to feel too much or beat too hard

They never tell you by the time you find a guy
You love,
Taking off your clothes will be like
Taking off bandages;
Like peeling of sunburnt skin

You're not a piece of art
or in my case ,a slice of pizza
You're not beautiful or ugly
Or their is no 'perfect eyebrows' and 'perfect noses'
Only until someone tells you so

They never tell you that the society is messed up
With their selfish thoughts
Everyone's busy trying to protect their own dignity
They're fighting only for their own rights

And never thought of finding the justice;
For the girl who is getting raped every second of her life
For the mother who is getting abused
By her own ever so loving husband
For the student who gets bullied everyday of her school life
And for the guy who self harms
Becuz of their so called girlfriend

We just talk about how the rate of suicides are increasing
Day by day
But did we ever think that even we are responsible for all those
And try to correct them?
No.

Inspired by one of The_Hunger 's poems.❤ thanks for the idea.
