Why did I promise him?

Kishin's POV

I walked around Death city admiring the beautiful decor. It all just fit together perfectly. But there was a slight problem.  They way the buildings were different sizes and slanted up the mountain. It just bugged me. I shook my head.

Why would I complain about the decor of his city, I mean seriously.  I sighed and continued to walk until I reached the steps of the DWMA. Just before I touched the stairs I activated my soul protect. I believe level 4 soul protect will do considering that Albarn girl can read souls. Don't wanna risk it.

I mean she perfected genie hunter faster than her own mother! Like hell I'm gonna deal with the girl who defeated Asura.

I pushed that thoughts out of my head and started up the stairs. When I reached the door I examined myself. I had on my long white scarf that covered my mouth, my dress like robe that was also white, and I felt my right ear, where my three piercings were. Two black snake bites at the top and a dangling miniature Lord Death skull. I smiled to myself because without that one piercing I wouldn't remember what Lord Death had promised me every hundred years i didn't see him. I sighed and entered the school.

I walked around the school heading towards the death room. I kept getting glances and decided to read the minds of some students. I started to here things like

"Is he a new professor?" "O-M-G, he is so cute." "Could he be a new student?" "What's his name?" and "Is he single?" I chuckled, and continued walking down the hall. I started to hum the song When your evil By Voltaire. I even started to spin at the songs climax and before I knew it I was at the Death rooms door.

I opened the door as quietly as possible only to see six students. The first two were A boy with white hair who was slouching and wore a biker jacket with torn jeans, and the girl next to him was wearing a pladd skirt, long sleeve school uniform, with two pony tails. Their names were Soul Eater Evans and Maka Albarn. Beside them was a Kid with blue hair shaped into a star with an assassins suit and a star tatto, the girl beside him had long black hair tied back with a long yellow dress. Go by the names Black Star and Tsubaki. Last but not least was Lord Deaths son. Death the kid with his weapons Liz and Patty. Seems like Lord Death was giving the poor kids a lecture. Time for me to step in.

I started to walk over to Lord Death slowly and quietly. As soon as I walked up the small amount of stairs, they all noticed me. I ignored the glances and continued to head towards death. Nine hundred years. I said to myself and soon found myself standing in front of Lord Death. I pulled down my scarf, thus revealing my mouth an then I did what he had promised I could do every hundred years I didn't see him.

Lord Deaths POV

I saw him enter and walk over to me. The kiddos soon noticed him too. They kept staring at him. Probably wondering who he was. He kept walking and I noticed he had that same Death skull piercing I gave him on his 2,789th birthday. I smiled under my mask and decided to break the silence and speak to my great friend who was now standing in front of me.

"Hiya buddy! Long time no see, how ya do-" I was interrupted by him turning me around to where the students (and my son) could not see my face (mask) and lifted my mask up and smashed his lips onto mine.

My eyes widened in complete shock and surprise. I started to shake and panic and he soon parted from my lips. I heard a gasp from behind me that sounded like Soul and laughing from Black Star. That's when Kishen pulled my mask back down and moved to sit at the coffee table near the door. I turned around to see the kiddos looking at me in shock. Except for Black Star, he was still laughing to the point he was rolling on the floor.

"Eight more to go Lord Death." Kishin stated in a calm voice. I thought for a minute about what that meant. Oh shit. It's been nine hundred years. And I owe him eight more kisses. I kept thinking this and thought

How could I have forgotten? Why did he chose today to come? And why did I promise him?
