Staying with Cortae and his siblings is pretty cool like all of them in the house is too funny that expect I feel a bad vibe from Danaë and Aniya but Cortae told me not to worry about them but right now I'm laying in the bed with the others in the house expect Kayla, Redd, and Tahlia they in school
Kenzie: *laying down*
Cortae: *walks in* you hungry baby?
Kenzie: yea a lil
Cortae: what you want?
Kenzie: I doesn't matter
Cortae: ight you can come down now or I'll call you when the food ready
Kenzie: is everyone else up?
Cortae: I dont even know but they can feed their damn self's
Kenzie: I'll come down now then *walks downstairs with him*
*In the kitchen*

Kenzie: *sitting at the table* of course pancakes are yummy
Cortae: ight you finna get pancakes, bacon, and eggs
Kenzie: oooo when you learn how to cook
Cortae: when I was 11 because I had to learn since my parents were home a lot
Kenzie: I learned when I was 15
Cortae: at 15 I was taking care of my siblings officially started taking care of my siblings
Kenzie: really
Cortae: yea my parents were out of town a lot so I was basically I guess the parent of the house
Kenzie: its just amazing how you helped raise your younger siblings
Cortae: I had no choice tbh
Kenzie: and you still do it today
Cortae: cause I had to do and I'm just used to it now
Kenzie: you stay here more than your condo?
Cortae: yea I sold my condo anyway my parents brought me it when I turned 18
Kenzie: fr
Cortae: yea when all of us turn 18 they buy us condos
Kenzie: that's cool its like a tradition
Cortae: yea that my parents started we gonna have to do it when our kid turns 18
Kenzie: what buy them a condo?
Cortae: yea its now a tradition now that we created for just our family
Kenzie: not including your cousins and aunts and uncles or grandparents
Cortae: nah they ain't included in it because we don't like their traditions
Kenzie: were you close with your grandparents?
Cortae: my dads parents died when I was 10 but my moms parents are cool asf though
Kenzie; aww you close with them
Cortae: when they see us at family reunions they smile because our parents are the most successful in that family
Kenzie: what is your other family like?
Cortae: their inmates, addicts, whores, cheaters, liars, a lot of bad things
Kenzie: is that why you think your parents worked so hard to get where they are now
