Rose was in her fifth year at Hogwarts. She wished all of her life she could just stay here even though she had so very little friends. Her closest friends were the Weasley twins and Hermione Granger.
Hermione befriended her in their second year once she found out there was another muggleborn in the school. Ever since the two have gotten along like sisters.
Anyways, because it was her fifth year, it just so happened that Dolores Umbridge took role as the new headmaster of the school. Everything changed. Rules, privacy, happiness. And it just so happened one of Umbridge's favorite things to do to the students was give them detentions...
Rose entered the pink room, her head bowed and arms close to her chest. She never once received a detention, not once! But the one time she got a detention was for coming up with a new instrumental piece while she was supposed to be paying attention in DADA class.
"Have a seat right here." Umbridge squeaked, eyeing the wooden chair in front of her desk.
Rose did what she was told. And she knew what was to come from what the other kids have been talking about...
As she wrote her lines, she felt the burning in her hand and saw the crimson hue appear on her soft bruised skin.
"I'm afraid," Umbridge piped up, "You may have to be punished more severely. I have spoken to Professor McGonagall and I'm sorry to say, but you have been removed from the Quidditch team."
What?
No...
Later on after her detention, she jumped at the sight of a tall figure standing there as if they had been waiting.
"Sheesh! You scared me..."
"Sorry," Fred grinned, "You alright? Let me see your hand."
Rose watched as Fred observed her hand and he kissed the bleeding scars.
"No worries. Tomorrow at practice you will be back to your high spirit self-"
"I got kicked off..."
"What?"
Rose nodded, a glass-like tear shedding down her cheek.
"Never say never, right?"
"Huh?"
"Don't worry," he smiled, "I've got a few tricks up my sleeve, love."

The next day, Fred and Rose walked out onto the Quidditch field.
Rose felt like a brick was in here stomach when she watched her teammates fly in the blue sky.
"Sorry there Rose," Madame Hootch walked over, "It appears you've been removed from the-"
It was then George snuck up behind the instructor and hypnotized the shriveled lady. A purple and pink whisp of air filled her nostrils from behind, and soon, Rose's name appeared back on the list.
"You took care of McGonagall and Umbitch too, right George?"
"Right you are, Freddie."
Fred looked down at the blue-eyed girl and took her hands.
"Now that that's taken care of, there's still one more thing you've gotta do before you get out there and fly, love."
"Oh?"
Fred leaned in and pressed his lips against Rose's soft pink lips, chills shooting down her spine and her toes curling.
Rose never played a game of Quidditch better...
