What is a poem?
Well.....
A poem is a written piece of art.
It is a story, told from the heart.
It's a work of wonder,
and perhaps a mystery.
A writer's thunder,
or their worst misery.
It can be sad, and feel quite blue,
but it can be comedic, that is very true.
A poem has a new meaning to each and every reader,
and it has no limits or sky high meters.
A poem is nothing but the power to be free,
it's beautiful, and it's wonderful
from what I can see.
A poems can rhyme, or not rhyme at all.
You see, you choose this! You make the call.
But if you are the reader, who loves to read.
And if you are the reader that reads poetry,
then stop for a minute, add this to your library.
