"I've got this" Lauren whispered to herself while she pulled her collar up and breathe heavily "were just meeting your new family" she thought to herself.
"Lauren, it's time to go!" Lauren heard her mother from downstairs
"Yes, mami" she got up from her bed and looked back before going out.
The way to the Cabello household was a 15 minute drive, Lauren was just looking out of the window when her mother, Clara, got her attention
"Lauren"
Lauren looked at her mother "Are you happy?" she asked with a kind tone
Her mother smiled "Yes"
"That's good" Lauren thought to herself, a minute has passed and they got to the house but when they got out Lauren was amazed by how big the house is.
When they got in they were greeted by a tall man and a beautiful brunette with a bow on her head
"Alejandro" Clara jumped to his arms
"This is your new dad, Alejandro." Clara introduced the tall man "Alejandro this is my daughter Lauren"
And the man smiled in a gentle way before giving Lauren a handshake "Hi Lauren, this is my daughter Camila" He gestured to the beautiful brunette standing beside him
Camila didn't speak a word but Lauren felt comfortable in a way...
Then Alejandro stiffen like hes looking for someone "Where's your sister?" he asked Camila.
"Upstairs" she stated with a gentle tone
"I really am sorry about that" He said while going to the bottom of the staircase
"Karla! Get down! NOW!"
Seconds later a loud thud can be heard, then a gorgeous brunette came into view.
"Papi! I can't accept this" The girl, Karla, shouted from upstairs.
Alejandro was flaming then Clara hold him down "It's okay, she may still be shocked"
Without thinking Lauren got up the stairs and knocked on the door
"Uhm, Karla? Can you open the door?" Lauren said just loud enough for the girl on the other side to hear, then the door opened, revealing a crying Karla
"Now what?" Lauren thought to herself then Karla spoke
"I'm sorry, I just- I'm not ready"
Lauren smiled "It's okay"
