Reverie

I'm lost

I am sinking below
down somewhere.

The place is unknown to me
but it lacks air.

I shut my eyes
to be a stranger to this place where I am.

I am being choked
I'm trying my best as I can,

to get out of here
but I can't find any way out.

I've been here for so long now
there is a way, I doubt.

It's queerly dark in here,
makes it look haunted.

But I've learned to enjoy this
it makes me feel wanted.

I'm there but I'm lost
and there is no getting back now.

unless I come across someone
who tells me how...
