... 'Wake up, Daddy!' - remember that scene with little King Gristle Jr trying to wake his Father up in various ways? Jumping on his belly, whispering into his ear - & finally pulling some of his chest hair out when nothing else worked?

Some younger viewers might have found that scene 'funny' - but I wasn't laughing then. Why? - For 2 reasons:

1. I still remember from my own childhood how much a child wants parent's attention 'Right now' when he or she wants to tell or show them something - & it's not nice for a child when a parent doesn't react for a long time - just like in my neighbour's example:

- I live in a block of flats so we can sometimes hear what our neighbours say through the walls - because we have 'very good acoustics' here ( sometimes even 'too good' ) - I can still remember that I once heard our neighbours' little daughter's voice repeating 'Mommy, look!' about 10 times in a row & sounding more & more desperate & close to tears - so seems that 'Her mommy hasn't looked yet'. I felt sorry for that child so I shouted in that direction 'Look at it For Heaven's Sake!' - the child stopped calling, so seems that it worked & her mommy finally looked! Yay! ( Dear parents - please react faster than that cause showing your children attention you assure them that they're important & that you love them! - Please don't forget about that!  ^_^ ).

2. I never laugh at scenes where someone suffers: & who suffered here? - King Gristle Sr when his little son pulled some of his chest hair out ( See his face? ). Have you ever acidentally pulled 1 hair from your head out? - It hurts, right? - so try to multiply it times two little fists full of hair pulled out at once!... ( Don't try that at home, just try to imagine how much it culd hurt ) - His face expression says it all !
