Chapter 5- The Mission

Chapter Five

"Agents G, A, B, and C. Step onto the platform in front of you to receive your mission," a voice boomed over the PA system the moment we reached the 'Hall of Missions'.

"Oh cool! I'm officially an agent! I'm Agent C! Agent Catherina!" Mum squealed in delight.

I laughed, but Dad told Mum and me to keep quiet and listen to the incoming mission.

All four of us stepped onto the platform and the person controlling the PA system spoke.

"Agents, your mission is to go to Pine Cone Hotel, find the bomb, call us, and we'll give you directions to cut the wires.

We've located the bomb for you. It is in the air vent right at the top of the building.

The time now is 9.30 pm. You have exactly 12 hours to find, and stop the bomb from going off. You still have a choice, do you want to accept this mission?"

"Yes, Agent!" Dad and Andre shouted fiercely.

"Yes, Agent!" Mum and I followed suit.

The four of us ran out of headquarters immediately, and sped to the hotel.
