Wow. Had a really different experience today. Aunt Deb took me with her when she went to vote. it's early voting in Texas -- Election Day is next Tuesday -- and I was amazed at how many people were there. Onca Lake has more residents than I thought. I wonder how many of them are shapeshifters like me.

Aunt Deb was so proud to cast her vote--she took her sample ballot with her. It was all marked up with notes. Lots of other folks took notes with them, too, and I wasn't surprised because the ballot was really long.

I was proud of her, too, and I'll admit to feeling kinda patriotic afterward even though I'm too young to vote. Three more years though, and I'll be carrying my own notes up to that ballot machine.

In the meantime, maybe I should start reading up on American History and Civics!
