Alistair left Jenna alone that day, as she encouraged him to do so.
Whenever she was upset, walking always cleared her head, and made her feel better, so she thought that perhaps it would work for Alistair too.

He had been very quiet the entire time after they left the small hut, and she respected that, for she now knew that it was his own way of processing what he had experienced after meeting his half sister.

The Cousland lady spent her afternoon and evening at the renowned shop, the Wonders of Thedas which specialized in magical and exotic items.
Though she sat in the library section of the place where she found some fascinating books.

Night came, the shop was soon closing, and Jenna started to worry when Alistair didn't show up. Her mind starting thinking the worst, as it always did.

What if he was caught by bandits? What if he was lost? Well, he did live in Denerim for a while, but that doesn't suppress the possibility.

It was only when she heard the creaking of the door and saw his light brown hair and his strong built that she felt relieved.

He searched for her with his amber eyes through the large shop until he finally caught her forest green eyes. She didn't bother wave for him or signal where she was. She enjoyed the sight of him.

"Where have you been?" she asked, trying to hide the worry she felt.
"Just.. here and there. I needed to clear my head." he responded, taking a seat next to her on the wooden table she claimed.

For a moment, no words came out of their mouths. Jenna wanted to give him time, and he didn't know what to say, but she reached out to him and grabbed his hand, pressing it firmly but gently, in a way that suggested that she was there for him.

His lips curled into a smile when he tightened his grasp as a response, making her cheeks slightly darken.

"Well, we better find somewhere to sleep." he sighed, "And I would suggest the back alleys. I nearly got robbed."
"What? How?" she asked with panic.
"Oh don't worry. I handled it. It's not like they have much to take from me anyhow." he scoffed, and as much as she wanted details, she decided to move on.

She collected her things and payed for a book or two that had caught her interest, then the two of them walked out of the shop and to their horses that they parked just outside.

Jenna loaded her horse, and as she did so, an idea came to her mind.
She remembered a place she used to go to as a child when she visited the capital with her family, and perhaps it was time for a little detour. She wasn't very sleepy anyway.

Alistair noticed her stopping in her track and turning to look at him with a wide smile and curious eyes. The kind of look she had when she had an idea of sorts, and so he raised an eyebrow as he waited for the revelation.

"Come. I want to show you something." she simply said, then caught his hand and dragged him to Maker knows where.
"Where are you taking me, lady Jenna?" he smiled and allowed his feet to follow her steps.
"Shut up and follow me." she giggled.
"You've been spending too much time with Morrigan, my dear." he scoffed.

The streets were now empty, but the two warriors had little to fear, so long as they avoided back alleys where criminals could ambush them.

After walking some distance, they finally arrived on a different bridge than the one they took on their way to the port.
Jenna's strides slowed, and Alistair understood they'd arrived to their destination.
He looked around in hopes of finding whatever she wanted to show him, but he failed.
