He leads me to a huge food stall. We get corn dogs, waffles, chicken strips, cotton candy and of course donuts. I've never eaten so much!
We take a walk around the arcade hand in hand. The only time we're not holding hands is when Joe tries to win me a cuddly teddy. He wins on the third attempt.
I cheer as he presents me with the teddy and he hugs me.
As we let go of each other, I look up at him smiling and our eyes meet. Our faces get closer and closer.
*RING RING* *RING RING*
Internally I groan as my phone rings.
"You better get that." Joe smiles.
I walk away and answer. "Hello?"
"Where are you?" Mums voice asks.
"I'm at the fair."
"Come home now, we're leaving in half an hour."
"Ok I'm on my way." I end the call.
I turn round to tell Joe.
"Joe I have to-"
He's not there.
