11: I almost died... Again

Lucy P.O.V.

Josh was really hard to beat 4 years ago but he has had training and so have I but I almost died last time. But that was last time. This is now and I will not be beaten. "Josh. I will defeat you." I told him getting ready to fight. He just scoffed at that and he was getting ready to fight. This time he will try to kill me. (No more dialogue and third person point of view.)

Lucy did a light dragon roar but Josh countered it by doing a shadow dragon roar and so they were both countered. Josh did a fire dragon wing attack and Lucy took the blow but wasn't hurt one bit. Lucy then did her 4th best attack and it hit him directly. It didn't knock him out or anything.

Lucy looked a little surprised but shook it off and did a sky, fire, holy, dark, shadow, iron, light, nature, lightning, poison, water, ice, and celestial dragon roar and it hit him dead on and he was hurt a little bit. Lucy then did a fire dragon wing attack and she went up to him and started kicking and punching the crap out of him so that he wouldn't be able to move.

Then he got back up and he was hurt a lot but it looks like he didn't even get affected by the pain. Lucy Gaped at him getting back up but shook it off and kept on fighting. Josh was limping a bit and holding his arm while moving and Lucy knew that he was hurt. Josh was just trying not to show it.

Lucy then did her 3rd best attack and it hit him dead on and he was definitely hurt. It was harder for him to move and he was limping more. Lucy knew she hurt him more. Lucy decided she would use her second best attack and that attack can blow up an entire continent and she focused her magic to use the attack just on him.

Lucy got ready and she blew the attack straight at Josh and it hit him everywhere. If he wasn't strong enough, Josh could die the second the magic energy hit him. Of course Josh was strong enough to survive the attack but he was badly injured and could barely walk. Lucy didn't feel a little bit bad for him. Josh deserved what he got.

Josh P.O.V. (OMG a change in P.O.V.'s)

Man, Lucy got way stronger and I almost died. I don't think she feels a bit sorry or bad for me. I guess I did get what I deserved. I have been hurting this place for 2 years now and I loved doing it. I just wanted to be rich. I think that I am about to die because of that attack but I will keep fighting.

I got back up ready to fight again because I will not lose to a girl. Especially  if that girl is Lucy. I don't care if I die in the process of doing this, I just don't want to lose to Lucy. I want to kill her and be done with her.

(Third person P.O.V.)

Josh got back up holding his stomach and got in fighting position. Lucy looked very surprised and her left eye was starting to hurt her a bit now. She covered her eye with her hand but quickly took it off not wanting Josh to know one of her weakness's. She decided to get through the pain.

"Lets continue our fight I guess." Lucy said ready to fight again because she still had a lot of magic power left inside of her. Lucy threw an attack and Josh took it because he couldn't do anything about it. He was to injured to do anything and he didn't have enough magic energy left. Josh just has spirit in him.

Lucy came up to him and started to punch and kick and do everything that she can do to hurt him without using magic because he was to weak do hurt her. Josh then stopped her punch and started using magic and punching and kicking her because he didn't want to lose to Lucy.

He was starting to get to powerful and Lucy just collapsed on the floor not able to move.

Levy P.O.V.

I watched the fight intensely. At the end Lucy collapsed on the floor and couldn't move. I gasped and wanted to help her but she said to go with her last breath and Angelica watched in horror as Lucy was hurt. Angelica moved quickly to Lucy, picked her up, and flew her far outside from where we were.

Me, Jet, and Droy ran out of there as quickly as we could and Jet ran us all the way to where Angelica brought Lucy and that was where Lucy found Angelica. We ran over to Lucy in shock and horror and tried to make sure she was alright.

"Lucy, we're going to help you the best we can and then bring you to the village to get you some more help." I told Lucy trying to see if I can help her while she nodded. The best I could do is wrap her in some bandages that I brought along with me just in case.

We were at the village and they were healing her as best they can. The best healer they could get was a mage who healed stuff like cuts and bruises because that was all they had. As long as she got the best we could get her then we wrapped her in more bandages because I ran out. I really hope Lucy is okay.

After about 2 days Lucy finally woke up and looked around. "Where am I?" She asked noticing that I am there. "You're in the hospital." I told her. She looked confused. "But I was just fighting Josh. What happened? Did I win the fight?" She asked me a little bit more serious.

"No you didn't win. He beat the hell out of you and we had to take you here. You are still seriously hurt and you need to rest some more so don't even think about trying to leave." I told her in a stern voice because she needed to heal some more before she can fight some more.

"But I need to beat Josh. When I see that scum bag again he is going to die." Lucy said with her kill face on. If she has that face on, you don't want to be on the receiving end of it. I've seen Lucy with that face before and it was not good when she got a holed of her target.

Lucy P.O.V.

I am going to beat the fuck out of that dick. He made a fool out of me and I don't let anyone make a fool out of me. I just need to rest some more. Then I will be good to go and kill Josh.
