Chapter 16: Preparing for the date

    hey guys im back! Im finally back from the dead my bunnies! Heres another chapter. Dont hat me for being away for so long and yet active on wattpad! I hope this chapter satisfys you! my books will be better in quality for sure! Also, i realized that i was moving way to fast, so im gonna try and slow it down a bit with relationships and what not.

    i tryed not to panic as i sifted through my closet (well, their closet, since this is Jess's and Kevins place after all), attempting to find something to wear. I heard a laugh from the door  way. Jess was standing there covering her mouth trying not to give away her position, but failing miserably. i growled at her, and her eyes widened, and she let out a tiny scream. she started to run, but i tackled her to the ground before she could get very far.

    She giggled and yelled for me to stop as i tickled her and laugh evily. i finally stopped after many minutes passed, and i helped her up, as she took deep breaths to calm herself. that calm broke when we both looked at eachother and burst out laughing. her hair had come out of the pony tail it was in and was all over the place, as was mine. both our shirts were crumpled. i wiped the tears from my eyes.

"so ellie, could you possibly help m choos something for the date? i really want to make a good first impression." she said as she blushed lightly.

"only if you help me?" i said.

she glanced over at my bed (currently covered in clohes) and raised her eyebrows. "looks like you could really use it."

i narrowed my eyes at her and got ready to pounce, when she stopped me."i was only kidding! dont hurt me please!" she screeched

i laughed and pulled her out of my room and walked over to hers. I opened her closet and checked out my options.

"so what are we doing?" i asked, while looking through her shirts.

"dont tell kevin, but theres a carnival in town, so dress caual and be prepared to walk alot"

i sqeauled when she said carnival, and started trying to fin something that would be casual but nice in her closet.

i found some nice black tennis shoes and threw them onto her bed. then i threw high wasted jeans out and she caught those and threw then on the bed to. then i threw her a black t-shirt that was cropped short, and look to be the right height to fit the high waisted jeans right over the belt line. 

"it might get cold later to, so i need a sweater as well."

as soon as she said that i threw her a jean jacket that smacked her in the face.

"after you change, leave your hair down, and do a thin layer of lipgloss."

i left the room, not checking to see if she was ok, and headed to see what i should wear. I couldnt do an outfit for a night out, but casual was my expertise.

I met Jess at the door in jean shorts with tights underneath, a thin black fleece sweater for when it gets colder, and a simple white t-shirt on. I had my milk choclate colored hair tied back in a pony tail, and i looked into the mirror to see my deep brown eyes, that everyone thinks are black ...

(this is actually true for me. i have those kind of eyes and it happens all the time. Sorry it look so long for me to describe my character)

 ...and touched my caramel colored skin, admiring the way my lipgloss brought the color of it out. i touched the few freckles that were on my face, and admired my slim figure...

 (i dont have anything against curvy people. i think you are beautiful just the way you are, and love yourself. also, this was not how i orginally picture ellie. i changed her to something that would suit her more and he new by the beach home. if you have any more questions about ellie, leave them down in the comments. ill have a Q and A if enough are left.)

...I turned away from the mirror stood by Jess to wait for Kevin, and he walked over with a simple white t-shirt, some jeans, and a deep blue coat. It was 5 pm, and we all walked out the door.

 Ashley was going to meet us there. i drove today,because i get carsick when it comes to riding long distances, and we played many songs and jammed out on the way to the carnival, like Rather Be by Clean Bandit, and Wake Me Up by Avicci. By the time we got to the Carnival, we were all really hyped and ready to have some fun. i found an ok, parking spot, so we had to walk a little ways.

We met Ashley at the entrance. she was wearing a long sleeve with no shoulders, and a black knee length leather skirt with black tights and black high tops (wich we later found out had memory foam, so she didnt have trouble with walking around alot) with red lipstick, and her hair in a higgh ponytail.

we were all itching to get into the carnival. This has got to be the best day ever!
