Chapter Three

Jax walked into his house, he was tired he stayed with Harlow a little later then he wanted too. Happy was sitting at the island in the kitchen drinking a beer. Jax took his kutte off and rested it on the chair

"Kids are in bed. Piper is in you're bed she fought me on sleeping In her bed" Happy said

"She remembered something" Jax smiled as he sat down

"What did she remember?" Happy asked getting excited

"That the kids like pancakes" Jax said

"Her and those fuckin pancakes" Happy said shaking his head

"Exactly her and those pancakes" Jax laughed

"Well I'm glad shes getting there. the kids need her back, hell you need her back" Happy said

"She asked about you today, I think you should go see her" Jax said

"Maybe in the morning I'm gonna crash on the couch" Happy said standing up

"Yeah me too" Jax said

Jax sent out a few text messages before he headed towards the bedroom, looking at Piper who was sleeping on Harlow's side of the bed. Jax stood at the closet trying to figure out where Harlow put the duffel bag so he could pack a bag for her. Jax thought maybe if he brought her some of her own clothes she could feel somewhat normal, settling on his bag he took on the run with him he dumped its contents out and carefully packed Harlow's clothes. He wasn't even sure how long she was going to be in the hospital so he only packed a few days worth and figured he could bring them home and wash them when she was finished with them he would bring them home and wash them. Jax was determined to get Harlow back were she needed to be

Harlow startled awake her entire body trembling from the nightmare she just had, the same one she has had since she came to the hospital. It was the same masked man that kept telling her that he would take him away, but she never knew who him was. But tonight that him was Jax. Jax was taken away from her. She didn't have any idea what the dream was refrencing to but she didn't like it. She didn't like the fact that someone would take Jax away, away from the children she didn't know anything about. Harlow wished to believe that the dreams weren't real but not being able to decipher anything anymore it made her nervous, she didn't want anyone hurt.

Jax ran his hand over his face, he was tired. Something kept him up last night mostly thinking about Harlow and the things he could do to get her to remember, bringing her up to the cabin would be something he knew he had to do, the cabin in lake Tahoe meant so much to the both of them that he knew it would help, or he hoped it would. After getting the kids ready for the day he decided it wouldn't be a good idea to bring the kids up to the hospital just yet, he knew they wouldn't understand just yet he needed to make sure Harlow knew which kid was who. Jax was prepared to deal with alot of emotions when she came home, not just from him but from her too.

Harlow looked up from her breakfast at Aaron, every morning since she had been at the hospital he had been there with a donut and some coffee

"Something on you're mind?" Aaron asked setting his coffee down

"Yeah, I'm not sure if I want to go back home wherever that is.... what if I want to live my life" Harlow said biting her lip

"Then you should live you're life I mean you don't know anyone really and I'm sure you're kids will be confused" Aaron said

"Yeah but I mean what if I remember things once i get there I remembered my kids like pancakes yesterday" Harlow said

"Well that is a step in the right direction" Aaron said

"Maybe I should take some time, kinda find myself again maybe if I do things it will make me remember" Harlow said

"That's your call I mean how do you think Jax will take it?" Aaron asked

"I'm not sure. I barely know him. I know he wants to try and fix me so bad but I feel like he is holding back like something is bothering him" Harlow said

"Maybe that he is afraid you wont remember anything ever" Aaron said shrugging his shoulders

"The doc said that it could come back at anytime, more so if its something that triggers it" Harlow said

"Then maybe you should go home, you can get everything back the way it was" Aaron said

"What if I don't want to. What if I don't want to remember anything?" Harlow asked

"Then you need to explain that to Jax. But I don't think he is going to take it lightly you are his wife" Aaron said

"That is that hardest part. We are married and i don't even know if i want to be. He said we were happy but how can i know for sure?" Harlow asked

"I cant give you those answers but it is completely up to you. I have a cabin that you can stay at for however long you want to" Aaron said

"I may take you up on that. Maybe I can remember things all on my own" Harlow said

"I can go up today and make sure that everything is stocked and ready for you. clean up a little bit I think its just a little dusty" Aaron said

"Thank you Aaron for everything, I will figure out how to repay you" Harlow said touching his hand

"In due time, not right now. but you are very welcome" Aaron said squeezing her hand

Jax was waiting on his mother to get back to her house so he could leave the kids and go up to the hospital, he wanted to see Harlow before he needed to head into work. He felt bad that he couldn't stay up there the whole day but he couldn't afford to take anymore time off from work

Jax walked into Harlow's room she was up and walking around

"Hey you" Jax said taking her in his arms

"Hey back. So I need to talk to you about something" Harlow said

"Ok what's up?" Jax asked sitting down

"So I know there is something bothering you and i think I figured it out. I think you are nervous about me coming home" Harlow said

"Well I am, I have a few concerns but we can get past it" Jax said not sure where this conversation was going

"I think I need some time to try and find myself and maybe try and remember things on my own. I don't want the kids to be nervous around me" Harlow said

"I wasn't planning on having them home for a few days" Jax said as his brow furrowed

"Please don't make this as hard as i think its going to be. I need to make sure that I can remember things and I know its going to be hard at home once the kids get there" Harlow said

Jax swallowed the lump in his throat he knew he was going to lose his wife he just hoped it wasn't for forever
