Later,

Class went by normally.
It was really boring.
My eyes kept closing while I tried with all my strength to keep them open.

Lunch.

I walked down the noisy hallways.

"Kwon Hyeri!!"

Someone called out for me loudly.
I turned around.
Kim Naeun.

Kim Naeun had shoulder length brown hair which had curls at the ends.
She had a perfect complexion and a nice smile.
She looked like a true, native Korean.

A small smile appeared on my face as I saw her skipping towards me with open arms.

She pulled me into a hug.

She's a year older than me.
She's my best friend, ever since kindergarten.
She was the one that scared the kids off when I was bullied.
She accompanied me when I was alone and had no friends.
She became my friend.
Best Friend.

I hugged her back tightly.

"Shall we go eat?"

The cafeteria is a cacophony of loud chatter, each table a cosseted huddle of people raising their voices to be heard above the din.

As I stand in the queue for my plate of nothing fresh I cast my eyes about as if in a wandering daydream but really I'm taking note of who associates with who.

We then sat at a table.
We started eating our food that tasted shit.

"Unnie."

I spoke after swallowing my overcooked ramen.

She looked up at me.

"There's a new guy in my class, his name is... I forgot."

I chewed on my processed food.

"Oh cool, how is he?"

She asked as she continued eating.

"He's weird."
