We met at the annual Youtube Creators' Summit. I remember the date well like I remembered the dates of the two World Wars, and you playfully mocked me for my "possibly slight eidetic memory." It proved useful, though, when you needed help in trivia games we used to play with our friends, or even the littlest things, like passwords and where you put the house keys. I knew you back then, but you didn't know who I was. I was still a newcomer to the scene, so I hung out beside the food table with Cora, plates piled high with food. Tyler Oakley approaches the both of us and makes small talk in an attempt to make us more comfortable, which was a success, because if it didn't, we would never have been introduced to each other and there never would've been an 'us.' Or something like that. Both of us weren't really one for labels, and what we had was something more than any label in the world could define.
