Stingy is greedy and cheap, he claimed everything to be his and caresses it because he posses it. He's claimed everyone's vital regions and has become part of everyone, because we all need stingy. He has the tendency to claim everyone's mail boxes and feelings. It's a secret but Stingy was originally the personification of Lazy Town, before Robbie Rotten the villain number one took over. His character song is the Mine song.
